Emfuleni Local Municipality Sewage Out Bust

SEBOKENG-  Over population and aging infrastructure are some of the contributing factures that are affecting service delivery in Sedibeng. This was revealed by residents of Hostel 2 in Sebokeng yesterday (18 June 2025) during an interview with Thetha FM. According to one of the residents Lizeka Tambo, a community leader, sewage pipes are small to accommodate large number of the hostel population. Some residents wants the infrastructure to be upgraded since sewage spillage poses health hazards to children and the community at large. Spokesperson for Emfuleni Municipality could not be reached immediately  for comment.
